Gamespace was an experiment in creating a nonlinear, nonhierarchical game.  It's easy to think of games as nonsensical, but they often emulate real life structures, rules, and hierarchies.  This makes play an important tool through which we’re taught normative modes and systems.  By creating a space that didn't dictate linear modes of interaction, Gamespace used play as a language to propose a type of radical flexibility.  

Crafted out of foam, cardboard, rope, house paint, binder rings, and polymer clay.
